Workshop Registration: Experimental TetraPak

Registration is closed for this event

Instructor: Chris Shore
1-day workshop

Workshop Description: Explore ways of introducing TetraPak intaglio into your printmaking practice! Utilizing eco-friendly, recycled materials, TetraPak prints are fast, direct, and very versatile. This workshop will introduce you to the material, and then help you discover creative ways to incorporate these methods into your art making.

What is TetraPak? TetraPak is the brand name of the silver-lined cardboard often used for packaging juice boxes and soup broth. When saved, cleaned, and flattened, printmakers can press into it with ballpoint pens to create “drypoint” type plates, or they can layer on tape and stickers to create collagraph type plates. It can also be easily cut into shapes for stenciling or a variety of creative applications.
